Tin Church by bulldog

Tin Church

A dryer walk around the village I live in and past 'The Guide Hut', which in in fact an original, early twentieth century 'tin tabernacle' hall.
These corrugated galvanised iron churches were supplied in flat pack and built here in 1910.
This hut is now a listed building.
Love the colours and textures. Interesting history too

Interesting history. It's good to see more utilitarian buildings being listed and not just the pretty ones.

Lovely colours and textures. I certainly wouldn’t have picked it as being a church

I love corrugated iron and how it ages :)
Glad the building is still there and being used.
