Two photos of the same Robin, taken on todays 10 mile walk, but which on is there better shot?

This one or Robin 2?

The texture of this fence is nice but I think I prefer Robin #2.

This one is lovely, but I might suggest (if it's cropped) to back away a bit from it? I like the other too!

Robin number 2 I think simply because he’s looking at us more, hard to choose though!

This one is my preferred one, the plain coloured background gives a much clearer view of this pretty bird

But ... the detail on the bird is better here and there is less distraction! Sorry, doesn't help much, I know!

Thank you all for your great comments and I think the winner is 'Robin 2' because of the background.
Can I just add that the background in this shot is SOOC as it was grass the other side of the fence and the DOF have naturally blured it, as you can see in Robin 3.

This one of the robin is super... the detail especially in his little eye is spot-on
