Strange bug!

This strange looking creature was on the back of my husband's T-shirt for quite a long time before he flew off. I have no idea what it is. Can anyone help? It was about 1 inch across.

@chamal Well it certainly looks poisonous with that long barb at the back, but to be honest, I don't know.

I've just looked on the internet and found out that it's a mayfly. It's not poisonous, lives near water and lives for only one day!

I was about to say the fish love them. There are artifical lures that look like the Mayfly.
