The Manor House at Stevington

If you ever get the chance to visit this area of the UK, this garden is a must. Kathy Brown and her husband bought it over 20 years ago and transformed the field into a beautiful garden. They look after the four and a half acre site between them! She has several small oases which have been inspired by the painters - Kadinsky, Mondrian, Monet to name a few. She serves home-made cakes on Tuesday afternoons in the summer and uses flowers from her edible flower garden to flavour the recipes. Yum!

How beautiful, lovely wide borders packed full of plants and flowers, I like to look around gardens, sometimes you can get some good planting ideas......not that I have a big garden, it's just nice to be able see which plants go together. Nice summery scene.
