Our church is the collection point for shoe-boxes again this year. We aim to 'fill a child's life with joy this Christmas' The boxes are filled with small gifts, toys, pencils, soap etc. and are sent off to children and families in need across Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It's a win-win situation - the people generously filling the boxes as well as those receiving them get a huge amount of joy and satisfaction. Thanks to all those around the world who are filling shoe-boxes at this time, and blessings and love to those receiving them.
An inspiring picture! Someone's going to be so excited to receive this! Our church does shoeboxes too for Blythswood, a Scottish Christian charity working overseas.

This is a great thing to do, we do it every year and about 5 years ago I went to crotia with a childrens charity I fundraised for and we went to an orphanage that receive these shoeboxes and the children told us of the excitment of receiving them, just thought I would share this with you.
