This weekend it's the Christmas Tree Festival at the United church in the centre of town. They invite local clubs and societies to represent their tree with a themed Christmas Tree. I'm involved in two trees shown here - the Hearstease folk dancers tree and the Actios tree. This is a group of people who support the teaching of Christianity in schools. It is a well supported event and gives an opportunity to raise awareness of local groups and activities going on in the town.
that neat - we don't do anything like that around here - or at least not that I know of. there is a church in our community that set up all sort of different nativity sets - from all different cutures and countries of the world
