Christmas roses

Still flowering!
The words are taken from The Manchester Carols, a re-telling of the Christmas story with words by Carol Ann Duffy.
A pure white rose for charity, a sprig of green for parity,
A yellow rose for hilarity, and we will laugh, be equal, kind.
Giving our Christmas flowers.
A creamy rose for sentiment, a holly sprig for ornament,
An orange rose for ornament, and we will laugh, be happy, pleased,
Giving our Christmas flowers.
wonderful rose buds with the water droplets on them - I had not heard the Crhistmas rose before - thank you - Have a wonder Christmas .

How beautiful these roses are, sadly there are no roses in our garden now but there were one or two until about a month ago.

I love the Manchester Carols - I'll be listening for them on Christmas Day - I'll have Classic FM on while I do the lunch! And no danger of 'A Spaceman' on there!
