Seascape finished! by busylady

Seascape finished!

I started making this wall hanging back in October, and it's now finished. It's made from fabric and embellished with wool, shells and embroidery. See my earlier post at this link.

It's beautiful! What a talented lady you are...........all the colours and textures work so well together. Like so many retired people I know you are busier than ever ...........how did you ever have time to teach!

Oooh fabulous - a triptych as well!! I'm taking my mum to the quilting exhibition at Linton in March - we went when the children were tiny and I seem to remember being a bit depressed at my own abilities (almost non-existent!) as the skill displayed was unbelievable!!

This is amazing. It's the sort of work I would love to do if I had the time. (Sure it wouldn't look this good though!)

I love this and greatly admire your creative abilities! I was inspired by a visit to my aunt's yesterday, who is also very creative, I will be posting a picture of her handiwork soon.

Thanks for all your amazing comments. It really wasn't that difficult as I followed a pattern. I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

Beautiful wall hanging and amazing to be able to transfom fabric into an artwork. Where will it hang?

@lornareid Maybe on the stairs - or in the conservatory against the brick wall.

Really superb! I was just trying to get a feel for size, from the shells on the hanging.
