I've made it to the end of my first year! Thanks to all you amazing people who took the time to look, comment and encourage with your wonderful words. It's been an inspiring experience, and although I thought of giving up half way through, I'm very glad I didn't. I now have to decide whether or not to carry on for a second year. I have booked a simple photography course later this month so think I will at least have to stay until after that. As the allotment season hots up I may not have so much time for posting and commenting every day, but I think I'll stick around for another year. I feel I've got to know some of you as friends, so I will look forward to keeping in touch and getting to know you better.
Hi Judith well done you, I'll bet your pleased now that you didn't give up half way through! I really feel for me, I could see how my shots had improved through the year, but then found myself being more critical about each shot and which one to post (which added more pressure to do good shots!!)
I like how you collage represents YOUR year and it will be good to look back on in years to come.
Have you noticed how people have their own style of shots, I don't think it's a planned thing just something that happens?
Glad to hear your continueing........you never know we might bump into eachother at Angelsey Abbey or other local photographic haunts!!
Great collage of your activities to mark 365. Appart from the tennis and gardening (though we do grow a few vegetables) it could have been mine! Nice to have been following you.
Congratulations Judith! You've made it! I wonder how many others get/got that sinking feeling around the 150-200 day mark. It seems that if you can battle through this period you're over the hump and cruising. Then you suddenly hit 365 and this daily photo habit has you hooked and you find it difficult to stop. Love the collage certainly explains the busy lady title!
Oh YAY! Good on you for making it to the end. I do hope you decide to stay on. I've been using some HDR software lately, Oloneo HDRengine. I've been doing subtle HDR on those gray shots to get the effect on the sky. You can download a free 30 day trial, which I did, before you decide to buy.
Congratulations,Judith! And so pleased you're continuing. I'm glad I did, although I am much more relaxed about it now, enjoying other folks pics and commenting as much as my own photography. You learn such a lot about people and the world and like you, I think of a lot of those I follow as friends now. Will look forward to seeing your shots when you start the course. Lovely stuff!
Congratulations!
Isn't it a lovely feeling to have come through a whole year of this! I think the first one is SO special and I love your creative collage for today!
I felt a bit like you about the continuing after year 1 but with so many friends it's easy to share / peep in at sharing by others!
Been fun sharing your photos and your life! xx
Congratulations and a fabulous last (and first!) shot with all of the Busy Lady activities for us to see!! Glad you'll still be around - we'll have to get that Cambridge get together organised when the weather improves.
I've really enjoyed following you and I look forward to seing your picture everyday so I'm glad you are continuing into year 2! I enjoy some of the same activities as you but you do so many as this lovely collage shows! Congratulations on making it to the end!
Oh please comeback, I so enjoy your shots and this one is no exception. What a great idea for your last shot of this 365 year. Congrats and you should print this collage and hang it somewhere in your house.
Congratulations, Judith! I've really enjoyed following your daily life and am glad you're continuing. I'm in a bit of a dip with photos just now so you're inspiring me to keep going.
Congratulations Judith. I found the first year to just fly by. It does get a bit time constraining sometimes, but I do catch ups if I don't have time.
All good fun. That's what it's got to be :D
