Heartsease knot by busylady

Heartsease knot

This is the group I dance with, called Heartsease. They've been a dance group for over 30 years but I've only been with them for about 7 years. The dance we're doing is called the Heartsease knot - that's me second from left. We had a dance tour at the weekend in the Yorkshire Dales, when we joined about 20 other dance 'sides' for a weekend of dancing in the Yorkshire villages. Luckily it was dry on Saturday!
What a lovely tradition to upkeep - bet it's fun. Great celebratory shot.

What a fun way to spend the weekend. I wondered why there were so many different types of dancing now I understand! :oD

@friendie I don't think so - the group has been running for over 30years and is called after the wild flower called heartsease. We have the heartsease flowers printed onto our aprons and some of us have embroidered over the top. We also have green dresses which I prefer as I think the brown is a bit dull.
