We had an early start this morning due to the loft insulation man coming at 7.30! It meant I was up in time to catch the sunrise. This part of the field is normally accessible to walkers and boat owners but as the river is still very high access was limited this morning. This little rowing boat seems to have drifted away from it's moorings, so I hope the owner is able to get out and about without it. some people live permanently on their boats in this location so I'm hoping they have other means of getting supplies.
3 good things
1) being retired so my time is my own to enjoy the countryside
2) book group this afternoon
3) keeping the wood stove burning slowly overnight so it's lovely and warm in the morning
I can relate to everyone of your three things Judith!
Love the golden light here & I would have thought the time more early evening than morning. Very pretty & a beautiful rising sun.
These sunset/rise shots are absolutely spectacular. Must be a pain for people living on the water constantly having to adjust their moorings and perhaps even worse for those who aren't with their boats.
