Not the sharpest of pictures but it makes a change of shot. I saw this moth flying around the allotment yesterday but couldn't catch him. However there he was again today basking in the warmth. Apparently they are usually night flying moths, only occasionally flying during the day and they're found on waste ground where ragwort and groundsel grow. That doesn't say much for my allotment does it? I don't have ragwort but I do have groundsel.
Nice to see one of these - I used to see them a lot where the ragwort used to grow but it was all pulled up and now there are none of these beautiful little pink moths which is quite sad. Excellent capture.
