Nearly ripe! by busylady

Nearly ripe!

I'm still working hard on the allotment although things are slowing down a bit now. These tomatoes are growing bigger every day and are looking like they might be starting to ripen. My next door neighbour on the allotment said I could pick his remaining redcurrants today and I couldn't believe how many he had left for the birds. So guess what - I'm making redcurrant jelly again!
They're big! You must be eating well at the moment.

Well done Judith ....there is nothing so tasty as a home grown tomato! We had some given us the other day & they knock spots of the shop ones even though they are local!

@phil_howcroft Well done on having some ripe already. I was a bit late getting mine in this year due to holidays.

These are exciting to see! I love fresh tomatoes -- there's nothing like picking and then eating! And these make a wonderful composition.
