The apples are beginning to fall so I've got to find ways of using them. I'd forgotten how good baked apples are! These were baked in cider and stuffed with raisins and cranberries. A little syrup on the top and it's a very easy dessert. I've been for laser eye surgery today so the focus may not be spot on. The procedure was uncomfortable rather than painful and was done to prevent a sudden loss of pressure in the future which can lead to glaucoma and loss of sight. It's a small price to pay.

@happypat It was just a recipe from Delia Smith, but she used muesli and I used the fruit instead. @cookie123 I didn't have surgery to correct my eyesight, but to create a gap for the fluid behind the eye to drain away. They actually laser a hole in your iris!
Those apples look so good. Cheers for those three good things... my partner was recently diagnosed with cancer, and will start treatment in a couple of weeks... :(
Really gorgeous shot Judith!! So mouthwatering!! I hope your eyes are feeling better - it's a good thing to have the treatment if it can help you in the future. I love your three things - all very important. I lost a very dear friend to cancer and know how quickly things can happen to change your life forever.
