Pumpkins and wellies by busylady

Pumpkins and wellies

You may remember a recent photo I posted when these fruits were growing. I thought they were squash plants which I had planted from some un-labelled seeds I found drying in the shed. No - they were pumpkins! I now have quite a crop which I'm not sure what to do with! Check out the original picture here. http://365project.org/busylady/selections/2013-08-15

@judithg I hope so - I'm banking on it. They should keep in the shed out of the sun - and away from the mice!

Fabulous! I want one! You really do seem to be a very successful vegetable grower.

@fueast Thanks, pumpkins are really easy to grow. Nothing seems to eat them at the growing stage and it's fascinating to watch them swell and then turn this fantastic orange.
