Tinkling the ivories

I played the organ for the afternoon service at the little thatched church in Roxton this afternoon. The chapel started life as a barn and was converted to a chapel in 1822. The organ was quite easy to play, although I don't play the pedals.
A talented keyboard playe AND photographer. Well done!

My father was the organist at the chapel until we left Roxton in 1967. I'm glad you enjoyed playing the organ because my father loved it. He was completely self taught but played beautifully

@rosiekind Oh how lovely, this must bring back lots of memories for you. My friend Angie Barnes was preaching today and she asked if I'd play for her. There were 15 in the congregation and there was a lovely atmosphere.

I am very envious - I never got to play in a church, so congratulations. A nice still life too.
