The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is such a fabulous building it was difficult to know which images to post. It was begun in 1884 by Gaudi and is as yet unfinished. Work has now begun to try to finish it in the original style and the expected completion date is 2014. It was dedicated recently by Pope Benedict and has been granted Basilica status. I've included shots from the outside as well as some of the construction work and shots taken from the tower.

Wonderful collage of this famous Basilica Judith....still not finished but it is so ornate perhaps not surprising. Would love to visit Barcelona ....you must be there now .....lucky, lucky you! Interesting to see all the different aspects here.
This is so perfect. I could not figure out how to capture this place and you have nailed it. I love all the details and these are so lost in a wide angle shot!
