Buckden Towers by busylady

Buckden Towers

We went for a stroll around Buckden this afternoon, a nearby Cambridgeshire village. The building is also known as Buckden Palace and was the residence of the Bishops of Lincoln between 1186 and 1838. It was also the prison for Catharine of Aragon, 1st wife of Henry Vlll. The grounds are usually open to the public although 'loitering' is not allowed!
A really interesting capture
