We often take our grandson Henry to the park on Wednesday mornings. We were surprised to see these unusual geese this morning. I've looked them up on the internet and believe them to be Egyptian geese. Widely bred in Africa but also found in Western Europe. Not the sharpest of shots but taken on my i-phone.
oow I saw them yesterday too but didn't have my camera with me, we looked them up & came to the same conclusion that they were Egyptian Geese. They were very vocal when I saw them, I think they may have sensed Buddy dog being close by !!! Nice shot.
Not Canada geese but Egyptian geese......never even knew there were so called geese. I must say I like the colours if them.... Perhaps it's climate change brought them over this way! Henry would be very taken with them!
