Cloisters at Lacock Abbey by busylady

Cloisters at Lacock Abbey

Lacock village and Abbey in Wiltshire are owned by the National Trust. These cloisters were used to film scenes from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and the abbey itself has been used for numerous other films including The Other Boleyn Girl, Robin Hood and Wolf Hall. The Abbey also houses the Fox Talbot museum which is the birthplace of British photography. Sadly we didn't have time to look round the museum, we'll just have to go back another time!
