How many eggs? by busylady

How many eggs?

Count the yolks and see if you can spot just 4 eggs. Yes there were three double yolks in this plum sponge pudding on Sunday. It's so unusual I just had to take a picture. The finished product is shown with a helping of custard. We still have quite a lot of plums in the freezer from last year so I'm always on the lookout for new ideas for using them up.
Yummy!
Great shiny custard...!

Yum. Looks absolutely delicious. (You've reminded me of my plums in the freezer now. Crumble all the way for me!) How unusual to have three double yolks though. Great food photography Judith.

Looks delicious. How good to find double yolk eggs. I had two eggs that were double yolkers a few weeks ago. Hadn't seen any for years before that either.

It looks yummy. I'll bet all those yolks makes it even richer.

Interesting subject, were they commercial eggs?? Most unusual chance to have three out of four doubles.

That looks very tasty and what were the chances of 3 double yokes? I haven't seen one of them in years! Nice portrayal of the experience and the end product!

Lovely capture and great eggs. I cook plums in brandy and molla sses sugar and a little fruit juice or water and serve hot with ice cream. Sometimes I do it on the BBQ. Peaches are great done like this too.
