We had a fabulous holiday in Syria in 2008 so I thought I'd share some of the memories of that once beautiful country. The people were so friendly, welcoming and glad to share their country with tourists. I can't bear to see the horrific devastation of people's homes, lives and livelihoods on the news each night. I pray for a solution to this terrible war.
Lovely picture ....it's a horrible situation in every way and I can connect with some of your feelings after 10 days in Cairo. ...the people we met were just as you describe the Syrian people. I pray for peace also and so good to have your picture in mind. Thanks for sharing.
