Not many of these privately owned beach huts were brightly painted, but just a bit further along there was a row of council rented huts which were much more attractive. However, I preferred this row as they are along the beach rather than on the promenade. One couple I spoke to said they go to their hut every day and often get asked for their photograph alongside wedding couples! There is a wedding venue a bit further along, next to the harbour
@dutchothotmailcom They are always built like this. Mostly you are not allowed to sleep in them, they're just for daytime use. In recent times they have become very expensive and desirable.
