Wimpole folly

A lovely day yesterday for a walk up to the folly at Wimpole Hall. It was muddy across the fields but well worth the view from the top. The folly was built to represent a medieval castle 250 years ago, and has recently undergone renovation work costing £450,000!
Love the crosses on there...lovely pale stone!

It has a very historic look about it with those crosses and the window shapes!
