I've been making the most of a dull, cloudy day. We picked such a lot of raspberries this year that most of them have gone into the freezer. The abundance of rain this year made them swell like I've never seen before. Today I decided to make the jam so we can enjoy their flavour for the rest of the year. Delia's recipe book usually comes out to remind me of the quantities.
Oooh my favourite, my mam used to make all flavors but the raspberry beat all the others!! Nice tasty capture, looks like it will last you a little while.
@ludwigsdiana Ha ha, I wish I could share it with you! Actually we had some with our rice pudding. Peter said it reminded him of school dinners when he would have rice pudding with jam!
I love raspberry jam the best! Yours is a beautiful red colour….so appetising! The best jam for everything from toast to inside cakes!

Yes, I've heard that rasps are good this year. Love your jars of jam, and I too am a Delia fan. I still go back to her books every now and then, despite all the more trendy ones I've purchased of late.
@lesip Thank you! The very small jars are the ones you get ehen you buy scones in a cafe. We refill them and give them to a friend who has a holiday house in France.
