Birthday beers

It's Peter's birthday today. He didn't want a fuss made so just a few cards and some beers. The book is the recently published one by Steve Silk, describing his 11 day cycle trip along the old Great North Road.
3 good things, 1) a street get together with the neighbours to mark the occasion of our lovely Violetta becoming a UK citizen.
2) A family birthday celebration at the local Italian restaurant
