Peter collected some of the remaining apples today - the ones too high to reach so he had to knock them off with the clothes prop! Then I decided to make this apple/blackberry/blueberry pie ready for the family coming tomorrow. I haven't attempted a lattice pie before and to be honest it's not properly done as the pastry was very rich and soft. The feathers are from the peacocks we saw at a property in Wales. I liked the Autumn colours. It was a busy day as I made carrot and orange soup as well.
