We have an apricot tree in our front garden. One year it fruited prolifically. That was the year I was away in Uganda for three weeks and Peter had to process the fruit on his own. He did a stirling job! These days it tends to flower early and gets caught by the frost. This year it's about three weeks earlier than usual. Here's hoping for no more frost!
