Family outing

We took a bike ride to Priory Park in Bedford with our daughter and grandsons today. These families of geese were coming in to the shore hoping for some food. They all came ashore and our grandsons had a great time feeding them with pellets bought at the cafe. I think I can count about 27 goslings here and there were 8 adults altogether.

How cute they are! It is unbelievable how the goslings distinguish which is their mother and vise-versa - they all look the same and yet! Nature is so amazing.

Goodness, that's a lot of young Canada Geese! We don't seem to have anywhere as many as usual on our local lake this year.
