It was too hot to venture outside today at just over 40C. This is another one from the lovely gardens we visited on Saturday. The bees were loving the profusion of flowers.
I did some garden watering this evening, only to find that my hardy fuschia has been scorched by the sun, and the raspberries which were ripe yesterday have either dropped off or gone soft and soggy in the heat. Still too hot to sit outside at 8pm!
we are certainly challenged by this weather and so are our plants. How sad to be missing out on your raspberries, but I do hope the fuschia revives. Some lucky ones will get rain tonight. Your weekend's sunny picture is certainly bright and cheerful.
