This is my quilt which hung proudly with all the others. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and it's more of a modern quilt than a traditional one. Every square or rectangle is different. I followed a pattern by Helen Howes from a Quilter's Guild magazine. I had quite a few nice comments from people who were looking at it as I passed by. I seem to have acquired the job of photographer again so I hope most of the photos turn out OK. You never know till you see them on the computer screen! I did cheat a bit and take some on the phone, but this one is taken with the 50mm lens.
We went to see the play Gaslight at our local playhouse known as the Priory Centre. The acting was was excellent, although it had a very dark theme. Set in the 1800/s, all turned out well in the end.
You are a master- quilter and a fine photographer! I'm sure your photos of all the quilts will be fine and enjoyed by all the others. Nice shot- and I love the creative patterns here!

Thank you for all your kind comments. I did enjoy making this quilt. It didn't take too long as I had in mind to finish in time for the exhibition. I made it as a replacement for one I lost in a fire! A very silly mistake - I left my magnifying lamp in the window and the sun started a fire in the quilt on the back of the chair. We lost the chair and the carpet too, but thankfully not the house!
