It was my patchwork afternoon today so I thought I'd post another of the beautiful quilts on show at the exhibition at the weekend. If you are able to see the detail in this one it was quite amazing.
3 good things -
1) It was my turn for making the cake for patchwork today and I made cheese scones as I'm trying to stay clear of sugary things. I was worried that they would be disappointed there was no cake, but no, they were all delighted. Several people were glad to see something savoury as they had not eaten lunch!
2) Peter made our curry for dinner today and although it was pretty spicy, at least I didn't have to make it.
3) Left over fruit crumble - yes probably too much sugar
?) I'm grateful for all your comments on yesterday's post. It was a poor last minute effort!
I can’t begin to imagine how anyone could sew this amazing quilt. So much talent about ….true craftswomen. They must be so proud of such beautiful work…an heirloom of the future!
The yarns I have used in my knitting are beautiful and soft and the last one has a percentage of merino wool which leaves your hands nice and soft. And no itching!!
