Books by the fire

Peter has taken Rory to gym so I'm left with the fire and some reading time, it's so peaceful! I've just finished reading Songbirds (Christy Lefteri) an excellent book and although sad it was well researched. It looked into the life of a Sri Lankan maid in Cyprus, and how some of them are treated. The Only Connect book was Peter's at Christmas, and the butterfly book was a present from Germany.
A perishingly cold day today, although the frost has finally gone.
