Flash of red 9

We found this old kitchen scale in a tumbling down garden shed at Peter's mother's house back in the 90's. We asked if we could keep it and give it a new lease of life. A bit of Brasso did the trick on the scale pans and a coat of metal paint (green) on the stand and it was as good as new! I use it at least once a week for baking and have a set of both imperial and metric weights which you may have seen before on this site.
I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the picture, not as sharp as I would have liked despite using a tripod.
Oooh these bring back memories, we used to have a set at home and a bigger set for the market! Nice capture

Very nice- I don't mind the softer edge on this- it adds to the nostalgia of it. Good shot!
