Book group

Our book group met today at a local cafe. It was my choice from a library list. I chose No One Home but to be honest it wasn't my sort of book. Rather far-fetched, very intense and violent in places.
However, I have also recently finished Where the Crawdads Sing - a wonderful storyteller and a heartwarming story
I'm not a great reader Judith !!!

Where the crawdads sing is a fabulous book, I've been looking for a book for a long time that comes close to it.

A book club must be fun but I must say I mostly like mysteries and crime.

Where the crawdads sing sounds a good read, I would like to see the 2018 film based on the book too.

Yes Where The Crawdaws Sing……a super book but the film used the charm somehow…..I wished I hadn’t seen it!
