Arriving by steam train

We had a very varied day today. A steam train ride from Hoorn to Medemblik, then a boat ride back. There are many safe cycle routes here in this very flat part of Holland. Medemblik was a bustling little town, with a lifting bridge to allow the many boats to pass through. We had a fabulous weather day, wall to wall sunshine, and 19°
