We cycled part of the Via Verda today from Bot to Arnes. It's an old railway track which has been converted to a paved walking/cycle track. The old stations and buildings along the way were overgrown, falling down with rubble everywhere and room beams on the ground. There were 8 tunnels, mostly solar lit, and 3 viaducts to cross. I'm not keen on the tunnels, so I walked some of them. However, it was a very pleasant route with sunshine all the way.
Like you I hate cycling through dark tunnels when it's bright outside, it becomes an act of faith as I can't see the road. I used to have reactolite glasses and they were even worse.
