A misty start this morning, but it soon cleared and the sun came out. Another very hot day, so we were glad of the shade provided by the trees in the park. This horse chestnut tree was laden with huge conkers. We took our grandson for an ice-cream and a play in the park, on his last day before the long journey of school starts tomorrow. He's only just four, it seems too young!
Ooh big day Judith, four is very young for such long days I feel. They are so tired at first! You will miss your days together! Lots of conkers on our tree too!
