This is the latest sculpture to grace the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square London, unveiled by Boris Johnson in July this year. The sculpture is by Katharina Fritsch, is made of fibre glass and stands 4.7 metres high.
The 4th plinth was created in 1998 to house a series of changing contemporary sculptures. This one will remain in place for 18 months. Other plinths in the square house famous people from history including George IV and Sir Henry Havelock.
