This cute little grass-roofed house in the mining village of Roros in Norway is typical of many houses in the village. Most are still lived in and are very well maintained. A small number are owned by the museum and are used for showing their cultural heritage.
Reminds me of a photo of the hold homestead my family (on my mothers side) had in Norway. It is still lived in also...but somewhat modernized. Great shot...so charming!!
