Far Pavillions

Did anyone ever read the book Far Pavillions by M.M. Kaye? I loved the book and this picture reminds me of the picture on the cover! It was taken from the back of the boat while on our overnight trip on Doubtful Sound. This was the last picture of the day as the sun was setting. Later when the sky got dark we were treated to an amazing show of stars, the Southern Cross, Orion and the Milky Way.
