I'm not sure what this flower is called but it was so pretty growing by the wayside at Paxton Pits today. Thanks to @lesleyallen for naming the flower - it's called Viper's Bugloss.

Judith - It's called Vipers Bugloss, apparently it was used to treat snake bites!! great close up shot.

Pretty and worthy of a photo, Judith ! I think all wild flowers are beautiful in their own place ( and some even in a garden especially a cottage garden !)
