From a distances, I didn't know whether this blob was a bird or leaves that were still attached to the top of the tree. So put on the long lens, trek nearer the tree and take a shop. Find a computer that one could crop the image and you see that it is a bird. Not sure what kind of bird it is at this point, but it has been sighted on day 4, so maybe I will go again and get some more shots.
Forgotten so far was the power cord for my computer, two out of three machines running isn't bad.
