Nice. One suggestion, if your lens has image stabilization, turn it off on your tripod and the photo will be better focused. The camera thinks you are holding it and is trying to stabilize itself.
@cirasj Thanks. Not bad for a quick picture, but not great either...no remote shutter control, 30 sec was a bit too long an exposure and I didn't take the time to ensure proper focus, also looking south is waaaaayyyyy different than northern exposures.
@byrdlip If you have a mirror lock-up function on your camera, you can use that instead of a shutter control. Or you can set you camera on a 2 sec or 10 second delay before taking the shot.
