In the bow of the Talley Ho, a joint caught my eye that I thought was amazing. Three pieces of purpleheart ( https://www.wood-database.com/purpleheart/ ) coming together. Perhaps not in the manner that you see the joining, but in the grain pattern of the wood. Please note that the bark beam you see at the bottom should be horizontal. Alas, in the end, this joint and the wood will be painted and no one expect the crew and visitors (now) will see the underlying wood.
