If you get out your favourite map of the Pacific Northwest, start a straight line from the top of Mt Adams, WA. Go west over the top of Mt St Helens and continue all the way out to the west coast. My line crossed the coast just west of Astoria, within one mile of where this picture was taken. So I will say with confidence, those snow covered peaks on the horizon, Mt Adams on the left and Mt St Helens on the right (that flat topped mountain/volcano)
If the weather clears up and we do plan to revisit this location and I will bring y big lens.
