Someone forgot the ISO setting from the smoke pictures from the night before. So we post process the best I can, while listening to it rain outside, and this is the results.

Thunder was heard, but didn't see any flashes. Usual ten mile storm, a lightning strike every ten miles (at high speed). One of these days I will get a Washington State lightning bolt.

I hate it when I do that. DO you shoot in RAW? I've been able to do a fair job of recovering most of those using Lightroom 4.

On the other hand...I don't believe I've had my ISO set quite that high. :)

@c17ehse I do shot in RAW, but even with PSE6 (and I don't know all the tricks) the grain was still there.

@byrdlip I know that lightroom is pricey, but you should consider it. It was my first major software investment after I bought my camera. I bought PSE9 previously and still use that.
