Awesome. Someone else posting with coordinates.

@mcrt When I can't come up with an appropriate description, when "out in the boonies" won't work, post the Coordinates. The exif should have coordinates and the direction of view.

@cathieg The joy of taking photos in raw mode.

@byrdlip Are you using the GP-1? I thought it just had lat/long/elevation. I have an aftermarket one. No direction of view either. I don't use mine often. Generally I just know where things are.

@mcrt I'm using Geosetter 3.4, so I set the info in the metadata after the fact. Haven't figured out all the buttons yet, I use it so infrequently.

@byrdlip I don't use mine often either. Too long to lock in location, but once it is locked it is good. The nice thing is it adds the info directly on the exif file. I have this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Precision-Design-Nikon-GP-1-GPS-Geotag-Adapter-Unit-/200843240164?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec330a2e4

@mcrt Makes me wonder if the cables that you can get to connect a Garmin to a Nikon are worth the price?
