Family night

Family fun night. Wednesdays we reserve for family fun night. Since my teenager is gone most nights, either working or hanging out with friends, the evening's activity is up to my 10 year old.
We usually go to the stable for awhile to ride horse. Then after dinner at home, we do whatever she would like. Read together, watch a movie or TV show ( she likes America's Got Talent, or the Voice) or play a game together.

thanks for all the nice comments. I know I'm trying to treasure every moment. My 17 year old is never home, either working or after school activities, or off with her friends. After she started driving it was hard to keep her interested in family night.

@caitnessa You are doing the right thing, I'm sure, by giving you teenager her space. Once they get a little older, they usually find their way home.
