For the past several years, as soon as I hang a basket of flowers on the front porch, two industrious little house finches get busy building their nest. Two eggs so far!
@fueast There was one egg yesterday, two this morning, so they have been on the nest sometime. But in the beginning they don't sit on it as much as I think one would think they should!
@jannkc Jann, the eggs are smaller than marbles. Amazing that a living thing will emerge from that tiny egg in a few weeks and then they will be mature enough to fly away in just a few more weeks!
